Going off of the looks of the professors combined with the names and styles of the Legendaries, it seems that Scarlet will have a focus on the past while Violet will look more toward the future. Online Multiplayer: The game features online multiplayer options, allowing players to battle and trade with other players.
Battle Mechanics: The game includes new battle mechanics, such as “Duo Battles” where two trainers team up to battle against others, and “Mega Evolution” which allows certain Pokemon to evolve further during battles. Day/Night Cycle: The game features a day/night cycle, which affects the behavior of certain Pokemon and unlocks certain events. Character Customization: The game allows players to customize their character’s appearance, including their outfits and accessories. 
These new Pokemon have unique abilities and attributes.
New Pokemon: The game includes new Pokemon that weren’t available in previous Pokemon games. Dual-Region: The game takes place in two regions, Scarlet and Violet, which offer unique challenges and experiences. Mirai means “Future” in Japanese while Kodai, which is similar to Korai, means “Ancient”. It’s rumored that Koraidon is a Dragon/Fighting Legendary while Miraidon is rumored to be a Dragon/Electric Legendary. Those who play Scarlet will have the opportunity to catch Koraidon while those who play Violet will be able to catch Miraidon. As of yet, we do not know any version exclusives, but we’ll keep an eye out for that information.
